A CHANGE ONCE NEEDED

To an ordinary  man, change is required at certain stages in life. Same had also been the case of Nigerian citizens until they tasted this recent change in leadership that seems to be bitter.

Nigerians in their last election voted for change, little did they know that change is of two kinds  (positive and negative ). With the current incompetency among their leaders which is as a result the change, and its negative effects on the country, they seem to regret why they didn't agree with this saying "a bird at hand is worth two in the bush" during  the last election. Note: Those who hail evil in exalting languages should understand this basic fact that in fullness of time, evil consumes its own.

A great nation is built when competent men are given the opportunity to pilot its affairs. Greatness is what any person will wish for his or her nation, the same did Nigerians for Nigeria that led to the change, but with the bit they have tasted, the call for greatness may be a far cry.

Having this little to say as am not the loquacious type, I will like to be noncommittal here, let Nigerians not turn themselves to arm-chair critics against their own government. I think it is pertinent to note that - a great nation cannot be built  if the citizens do not unanimously work with the government. The change has already occurred, nothing better can be done than to try making the best out of it. Let the citizens work alongside the government to build a great  nation so that in future, when the stories of this past tragedy will be told, sucklings will find it difficult to comprehend in the light of existing order and peace.

Above all, let them honour and obey God, so that He will heal their land. God bless Nigeria and her leaders.
